The Story

The ritual of using agarbatti (incense sticks) in cultural and religious occasions is a long held tradition in India. Aromatic resins are burned in small hand-held incense burners, who believe that its scent purifies the place of worship and prepares them for meditation.

The Agarbatti table is inspired by the craft of the traditional hand-rolled incense, The organic materials used to produce the sticks themselves are reflected in the steam beech legs used in the design, giving an overall sense of balance and proportion.

Utilizing soft lines and gentle curves. The wood was chosen for its ability to enhance the delicate ethereal nature of incense. The table top and legs are both crafted from the same wood and shaped in a wooden lathe to ensure that precise balance is maintained to provide stability and elegance.
